RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

These devices are specially designed to be used in the absence of humans. Direct contact with UV-C ultraviolet light without special protective measures (goggles, gloves) is contraindicated, according to the operating instructions.

SPECIFICATIONS

The rapid installation kit (RIK) is factory assembled and tested. It consists of the following :

• Adjustable four-sided aluminium columns, easy to install
• Galvanized steel housing and support assembly
• Pre-wired, 110-277 V power supplies installed at the factory with moisture-resistant sockets according to IP67
• Fasteners and vibration-resistant screws
• 2× “H” type galvanized brackets

The rapid installation kit is pre-wired and designed for quick and easy installation of single-ended supply UVC Sterile-Air transmitters in air handling units (AHUs) with battery heights of up to 457 cm. It is ideal for multi-battery, space-constrained units or buildings where air conditioning downtime is a critical issue.
The rapid installation kit is available in 9 variants, offering flexibility in choosing the length of the transmitters and can accommodate from 1 to 8 rows of transmitters with up to 2 factory pre-wired power supplies and mounted in the housing. All components required for installation are included. Designed for the Steril-Aire optimized SE transmitter, with lengths of 61, 76, 91, 107, 127 and 155 cm, the kit offers unmatched versatility to configure
the system with multiple lamp lengths for optimal cooling battery coverage.

The rapid installation kit is factory assembled and tested. It consists of the following components: factory pre-wired power supplies, with m12 connector cables and IP67 compliant transmitter sockets, mounting clamps for each transmitter, stand support assembly, “H” ceiling bracket, adjustable aluminium columns and all fasteners.
The adjustable columns are made of aluminium. They are designed for mounting inside the CTAs.
The column supports are made of galvanized steel. To attach the column, use the “H” bracket, which is fastened with self-tapping screws to the ceiling of the CTA. The stand support assembly is located at the base of the column to adjust the height and prevent slipping in the drain pan.
The housing is made of galvanized steel to withstand the HVAC conditions in which 2× 110-277 V power supplies are installed at the factory. The transmitter is held in place and is supported on the air path by the Steril-Aire mounting options.
Power supplies are UL-935 certified, Class P and Type 1 on the outside. Power supply design includes RF and EMI suppression on each FCC Part 18 component. The power supply is designed to maximize photon production, source, and reliability of cold air irradiation at temperatures between -17 and 60°C, 100% relative humidity. The universal power supply is 110-277 V, 50/60 Hz single-phase with protection in case of malfunction.
The transmitter has a very high power, hot cathode, T5 diameter of 253.7 nm, which produces UV-C germicidal. The single-phase transmitter operates at air speeds of up to 10 m/s and air temperatures between 2-60°C. It does not produce ozone or other secondary contaminants.
The socket is designed with 4 pins, made of UV stabilized fireproof polycarbonate, with silicone rubber gaskets to obtain IP-67 protection at temperatures of -40° to 125°C.
Independent testing : the unit is tested by an independent laboratory and verified to provide an output per inch of glass of at least 7.8 µW/cm2 at 1 meter distance in an air flow of 10 m/s at 10°C.
