Direct contact with UV-C ultraviolet light without special protective measures (goggles, gloves) is contraindicated, according to the operating instructions.

SPECIFICATIONS

The optimized UV-C kit manufactured by Steril-Aire powers a UV-C Transmitter with multiple patents that gives the UV-C device the highest and most durable performance on the market. It has been subjected to independent tests
ensuring a yield of up to 6 times higher than other ultraviolet devices in HVAC conditions (temperature 10°C and air speed of 2 mps).

The optimized UV-C kit is factory assembled and tested. The kit consists of a pre-wired power supply and connector, as well as 2 spring clips.

The power supply is class P, with a power factor & gt; 0.98. It will be supplied with single-phase current of 120-277 V (+/- 10%) and 50/60 Hz. RF and EMI suppression will be included from the design phase. The length of the input cable of the power supply is 11.43 cm. The length of the power supply cable of the transmitter from the power supply is 91.44 cm, with a sealed IP67 connector at one end and an M12 connector at the other. The maximum recommended cable length between the transmitter and the power supply is about 10 m.

The plug is of the 4-pin Sterile-Aire type, to facilitate the connection to the EGTS Transmitter and to facilitate the installation and performance of service works.

Mounting : Spring clamps (2 pieces).

Independent testing : The unit shall be tested in an independent testing laboratory and the yield of at least 7.5 µW/cm2 at 1 meter per arc length of 1 inch shall be confirmed at an airflow rate of 2 mps at 10°C.

The unit is compatible with ANSI/UL 153, 1598, 1995 standards, as well as CSA and CE standards. It is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015 certified production unit.

The UV-C lamps produced by competitors must be changed every 3-4 months to remain effective, because their initial capacity is so low that they quickly lose their intensity, i.e. the “destructive power” needed to control the development of biofilm. The Steril-Aire UV-C transmitter, on the other hand, has a 12-month life cycle. Even after a year of continuous operation, Steril-Aire UVC performs better than competing devices on day one! Thus, only Steril-Aire can provide the germicidal yield you need.
